There are a number of reasons why dentists would prefer Female Golfers over Professional Wrestlers as their personal dental assistants. Just as the sports are world s apart in application, so, it seems, are the people who participate.

Female Golfers are less likely to yell at the patient. While there is no research currently being done to discover just why this seems to be true, the dentists surveyed were in complete agreement on this little known fact. And while female golfers are less likely to yell at a patient, they also are less likely to throw the patient into the chair. A female golfer is more likely to kindly invite the patient to have a seat. None of the informal studies

on the subject have turned up even so much as a single throwing incident, by a female golfer.

Women in the golf world has grown number wise, and the interest overall has grown over the years. For those interested, finding the fashions to fit the game have not been easy to accommodate at first, due to the fact that the game was male dominated for years. Then a women s golf store was open to better accommodate women and their needs at all of the golf related items.

Due to the fact that women like to play a full round of golf as much as the men do on a golf course, it made sense for a store to open that made sure women got what they paid for. Plus unlike the men, they were a bit more fashion

conscious to where their clothing would look a bit more noticeable than what the guys were wearing.

Ladies, the next time you grab your clubs and head out to the golf course for your weekly foursome, take a moment to reflect on the amazing contributions that women in golf have made throughout history. The contributions were not only to the game itself, but to your “right” to play this sport which was once reserved for men only.

Our first tip of the hat goes to Mary Queen of Scots who in 1552, despite being a woman, was allowed to play golf anytime she cared to. History credits Her Royal Highness with coining the term “Caddy” which was a derivative of the her favorite word for these indispensable golf helpers who she called “Cadets”. It should also be noted

that it was during her reign that St. Andrews, the world’s most famous golf course, was built, but it would be almost 400 years later that the first woman would be allowed to play there.
